The Portsmouth Museums Foundation is pleased to announce that our annual Bunny Hop 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. The proceeds will fund the Portsmouth Museums Foundation, Inc. in support of the Children’s Museum of Virginia. Enjoy a flat, fast, picturesque course along the Portsmouth waterfront.

5k begins at 8:30a

Early Packet Pick-up: Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at The Children’s Museum of VA.
Race Day Schedule:
7:00 a.m. – Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens @ Portsmouth Pavilion, 16 Crawford Circle in Portsmouth.
7:40 a.m. – Registration and Packet Pick-up for 1 Mile Family Fun Run Closes.
8:00 a.m. – 1 Mile Family Fun Run Begins.
8:10 a.m. – Registration and Packet Pick-up for 5k Closes.
8:30 a.m. – 5k Walk Begins.
8:30 a.m. – 5k Run Begins.
